The friends of Turri Oil at Sella Ronda Bike – June 24, 2012

Giancarlo Turri, the founder of the oil mill, was a huge fan of cycling; there are several pictures of him sitting on the saddle of his bicycle riding throughout the dusty paths in Verona in the early ’40s. This is one of the reasons why we have decided to sponsor a group of ‘friends of Turri oil” giving them worthy uniforms of a cycling team; we are also very keen on remembering this old and noble passion and on supporting those who practice this sport in an recreational way.

The group returned with something that has been seen as a real epic challenge: they have climbed the four Dolomitic Passes during the Sellaronda Bike Tour. The day has been unforgettable, our athletes went over a difference of almost 1800 meters in the Monti Pallidi, and many participants noticed that some cyclists were carrying up to the Dolomites bottles of Turri Oil with them.

We would like to thank all our athletes and boost them to keep us up to date about their deeds that bring our product as high as the mountains they’re climbing.
