Our shop is open from Monday to Saturday 09.00-12.30 and 15.00-19.00. There you will find our skilled staff, who can guide you in the choice of the extra virgin olive oil, also by the tasting of all the available products.

 

VISITS TO THE OLIVE MILL AND TASTINGS

If you wish to learn more about our territory, the production of PDO Garda Orientale extra virgin olive oil, the company with its long story and take part in a guided tasting you can enroll you in our guided tours in the olive mill.

 

GET TO KNOW

There are, In Italy, about 500 different varieties of olive tree. In our company olive grove 27 of them, typical of Garda Lake or Veneto region or coming from other italian areas, grow all together. They differently react to our microclimate, northest area for the cultivation of this plant (45th parallel). In the garden there is also an ancient wooden olive mill, dated 1740. It is the cue for talking about the evolution of olive oil production along the centuries, finishing by the modern olive mill, where between mid October and mid December the machines work at full speed.

 

TASTING

In the Museo del Castaldo the tour goes on watching a short film about the story of the company and the olive oil: from the tree to the bottle. In this room a collection of old agricoltural and rural tools is displayed. Here, guided in the tasting, i twill be possible to taste the Garda PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, excellence of our territory, as well as other specialties from our company.

 

HOW TO TAKE PART

Groups over 15 people can book a visit writing to visite@turri.com. Tours can take place everyday, when available, with arrival 09.00-11.00 and 15.00-17.00. Spoken languages: italian, english, german, french.

For single guests or small groups (less than 15 people) we take collective visits, in italian and english, in June, July and August, Tuesdays and Fridays at 17.00.
